Itinerary
Arrive at the Pagosa Outside office for check-in a few minutes before your scheduled trip time. Your guide will get you fitted with all necessary gear, including life jackets, splash gear and river shoes.
After a 1 mile van ride to the put-in, your guides will get the rafts ready to float and give a Safety Briefing before dividing into rafting crews and launching.
You will leave civilization behind as you float 13 miles through the scenic and isolated Mesa Canyon. The relaxing sections are broken up by fun splashy rapids, a short stop to stretch your legs, and the exciting plunge over Llama Falls. Your driver will be waiting at the end to load you and your raft all too soon.
After the 13 mile ride back to our shop, change back into your dry clothes and say goodbye to your rafting crew. The complimentary photos will be in your inbox shortly but don't forget to grab a Pagosa Outside souvenir from our retail store.

The trip operates rain or shine during the summer months. We supply all the appropriate rafting gear you need to stay comfortable, but be prepared for occasional weather changes. Dress in synthetic, non-cotton layers if you want to be warmer.
