This quick intro to whitewater rafting in Pagosa Springs is a great “Splash and Dash” trip for just testing the waters.
Closing day was Sept 6
And what a strange summer it was! Thanks to all of our guests who got out and enjoyed our fresh mountain air, abundant sunshine, and abbreviated offerings.
We will be back for another summer of fun in May 2021. We aren’t sure exactly what it’s going to look like yet, but we promise that we will do our best to keep your fun meter in the red zone!
Along with the non-profit Friends of the Upper San Juan, we have been working to protect public river access around Pagosa. Our first success was negotiating the purchase of the Mesa Canyon take-out which was almost lost due to adjacent landowners. The Town of Pagosa Springs stepped up to protect our ability to float, but now it’s our turn. We need some grassroots support so we can find a corporate sponsor to finish the project- Donate Here.
In the meantime, stay sane, be kind, and pray for snow. Enjoy your winter, we look forward to seeing you in the spring.
Opening Day is May 8th
We’ve had to make some changes in how we run our guided trips. This summer we will be following the health department guidelines by limiting raft capacity to single households and van capacity to 2 households with a maximum of 10 people. We expect more changes in the COVID regulations throughout the season and thank you in advance for your patience.
