A remote and rugged wilderness whitewater river that runs through jaw-dropping canyons.
The Piedra River is one of the most restrictive commercially regulated rivers in Colorado and has been under consideration for “Wild and Scenic” status. It flows early and the prime window is short with flows peaking in mid to late May. Our Piedra rafting trips are based on snowmelt, river flow, and seasonal road access determined by Mother Nature and the Forest Service. The sections of river we run will vary with these factors to maximize the quality and safety of your trip.
